My story is a tapestry woven with passion, creativity, and a commitment to crafting unforgettable dining experiences. As a child, I got interested in great food by hanging around in my mother’s kitchen in rural, Kerala state in India. Later, I spent 6 months in Indian cooking course at the Institute of Catering Technology and Applied Nutrition in Chennai (formerly Madras), India. I ran a successful Kerala Indian restaurant in San Jose, California for 5 years before moving to Portland, OR in 2021.
I am not just about serving meals; I am on a mission to take you on a gastronomic adventure that transcends borders and introduces you to a world of flavors. My mission is to educate people about simple cooking methods using spices and herbs and the adverse health effects of consuming packaged food with several additives and chemicals.
I draw inspiration from diverse global traditions, blending ingredients and techniques to create a symphony of tastes that will leave you craving for more. Each dish is a work of art, meticulously crafted with attention to detail using all natural ingredients and a dash of creativity.
From the aromatic spices of India to the delicate flavors of various countries and cuisines, my menu is a testament to the beauty of culinary diversity. I believe that food has the power to connect people, and through our dishes, I aim to bring people together, fostering a sense of community and appreciation for different cultures.
But my journey doesn’t stop at the plate. I strive to create an ambiance that complements the culinary experience by meeting chefs in various countries and showing them how easy is to cook with spices. My warm and inviting gestures sets the stage for an evening filled with laughter, conversation, and the joy of savoring delicious food.
Whether you are a seasoned food enthusiast or someone looking to explore new tastes, my cooking is a haven for all. I invite you to join me on this culinary journey, where each bite tells a story and each meal leaves a lasting memory.
